Adding Multiple Contacts: As a Company you are able to add up to 10 contacts per account. This allows a number of individuals in the organization or different departments to access and bid on certain projects. We encourage you to add your colleagues to the account – that way if you are away on vacation, your company can keep updated on bid opportunities and take action when necessary.
Managing Notifications: On your dashboard in the ‘Manage Account’ section you are able to choose the categories that are most appropriate for your company. If you select categories but leave your agency (buyer) selection blank, you will not receive any new bid notifications. So make sure you select the agencies you would like to receive notifications from. When a New Agency is added to our system – the system automatically selects this Agency in your profile. If you do not want this agency as part of your profile you will have to log on and deselect it in the ‘Manage Account’ section of your profile.

Accessing Un-WaterMarked Documents on a Bid Opportunity: The documents are available for preview with a watermark without any obligation to bid as long as they have been uploaded in PDF format by the agency (buyer) and the supplier has a bids&tenders account.
To obtain the un-water marked copy of the documents you MUST REGISTER FOR THE BID. If you have already registered for the bid, but are still seeing the documents with a watermark, please ensure that you are LOGGED IN on bids&tenders.
NOTE: If the bid is a pre-qualified the documents may NOT always be available for preview.

Changing My Company Name: Under the “Manage Account” section on your profile you are able to change any information pertaining to your organization except the organization’s Legal Name. In order for you to change this, bidsandtenders requires the Primary Contact to send in a request to support@bidsandtenders.ca.
Please, make sure you specify in the email the current name and the name you would like to change it to.
Troubleshooting - Payment for bid (declined/contact your administrator)
There are a few reasons why the system will not allow you to go to the payment page or your transaction is declined - the following are guidelines to troubleshoot prior to contacting support:
- Is my address in Manage Account properly formatted
- Address Line 1 - is just my street address (123 This Street)
- Address Line 2 - is suite or unit #
- Province, Postal Code & Country - spelling is correct
- Does my organizations VPN allow me to make purchases on my company issued technology
- Try purchasing the bid on a personal device (laptop/pc/mobile)
- Try logging out of the VPN
- Try a different browser (Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge)

Document Fees: Additional fees charged by certain agencies in addition to the subscription or per bid fee required for submitting a bid. These agencies, which presently apply supplementary fees for bid documents are indicated on the website with a symbol denoting a dollar sign ($) next to the respective bid listing. Refunds
bids&tenders does not process refunds for cancellations of bid, for missed bids or for any other reasons. Please refer to the Vendor's Terms of Service Agreement agreed to upon creating an account.
